What is Reiki?

Reiki is very easy to learn. Reiki treats the whole person, the mind, emotions, body and the spirit. Reiki is a very unique system of healing in that the ability to practice and teach Reiki is a not taught but passed on to the student by a Reiki Master who performs a initiation called a "attunement".

What is needed to Practice Reiki?

One doesn't need any intellectual ability, spiritual development, or religious association. Reiki training is available to ALL persons, to take Reiki training and become a Reiki practitioner. It's a safe method of healing. The Reiki energy never does any harm. Reiki has an intelligence of its own and works for the persons highest good. One doesn't have to be ill to receive benefits from a Reiki treatment.

What is a Reiki Attunement?

The Reiki attunement is a powerful healing and spiritual experience. You may be initiated individually or in a group setting depending on the Reiki courses offered .Reiki attunements open up the energy path ways so that more Reiki energy can flow through the body. Some people may have mystical experiences, healings, visions, colours and body sensations. Attunements may increase ones psychic ability. Once attuned to the Reiki energy, you can never lose it, Reiki is with you for life.

Many people, because of the negativity in their lives, stressful living, unhealthy foods, chemicals in the atmosphere, have a fairly low energy vibrational level. The Reiki Attunement raises our vibrational level within the body to that of the Reiki energy. However, our bodies have to adjust to this higher vibration and some people may have a temporary/mild physical or emotional reaction and go through a 21 day cleansing process. Everybody will have their own unique experiences during the Reiki attunement and their 21 day cleansing process which will then follow. Reiki, like most energy modalities, works on the cause rather than the symptoms of an illness.

During the attunement process, a series of Reiki energies in the form of symbols are sealed into the person's energy field, energy channels are opened up for the Reiki energy to flow through. The Reiki attunement process is also a simple technique to learn, taking a short amount of time to actually do.

Doing attunements in person or distantly makes no difference, it is my experience that they both work . As soon as one is attuned to the Reiki energy and received their training manual they can practice Reiki healing on themselves and then others.

Changes after an Attunement

After one is attuned to a level of Reiki or has a Reiki treatment, a 21 day cleansing process may take place. In the case of Reiki l, the physical and etheric levels of the person are the areas that are being worked on and changed. As that change takes place, it is not uncommon for many things to happen on the physical level of one's being. Sometimes, the physical and etheric bodies get quite a releasing of negative energies. You may notice aches and pains, a cold, flu like symptoms, sore throat etc.) or you may notice nothing at all. Everyone's experience will be different, depending on how much negative energy needs released from one's being.

Attunement to Reiki ll works with healing the mental and emotional levels of one's being. At this level, one is taught how to use symbols which include: the Power symbol, the Mental/Emotional symbol, and the Distant healing symbol for various intents and functions of healing which are presented in the Reiki ll training manual, with complete instruction in their use, all that is needed is one's intent. The Power symbol increases the Reiki energy. The Mental/Emotional symbol is used to heal emotional/mental blocks. Old habits and patterns can disappear if one uses the mental/emotional symbol. The Distant Healing symbol is used to send Reiki to someone from a distance, or you can send it to a situation in the past/present or future that needs healing.

Reiki Master/Teacher attunement energy raises one's vibration level and deals with the cleansing of our spiritual nature and all levels of our being. The Reiki Master manual supports the student in becoming a teacher and training your own students in the Reiki energy.

Reiki Level 1 Training

Reiki 1 is available to anyone. This course enables you to treat yourself and others with Reiki. You must take Reiki courses in sequence, you can't skip levels. If you have taken any level courses from another Master, simply scan me your Reiki certificate if you can.
